The Fulton City Council voted Tuesday night (Sept. 7) to approve moving garbage pick-up from Monday and Friday to only Wednesdays.  Moring Disposal requested the change for efficiency and better service to its customers.  Prior to the change, if a site did not get picked up on Friday the homeowner would have to wait the entire weekend for the garbage to be picked up on Monday.  Now, if garbage is missed on Wednesday, Moring Disposal can come back on Thursday.  The new pick-up day will begin Wednesday, October 6, 2010.  Residents are encouraged to have their garbage placed at their normal trash site by 6:00 a.m.
