FACE - Putting Your Vision of Fulton to Work
Fulton - FACE (Fulton Association for Community Enrichment) has grant money available to help local organizations put their vision of Fulton to work in 2010.
2010 grants for charitable and nonprofit projects up to $1000 are available. If your organization is interested in being considered for a grant in 2010, please fill out a grant request and return it to FACE, PO Box 292, Fulton, IL 61252. All grant applications need to be received by FACE by June 1, 2010.
2009 recipients of grants included:
- Fulton Elementary School - classroom globes
- Fulton Recreation Corp. - development of website
- Unity Christian Elementary - convert library to electronic checkout
- Volunteer Millers - host 3 summer educational programs
- Schmaling Memorial Library - enhance children's video collection
- Fulton Fire Department - new stair chair
- Windmill Cultural Center Education Committee - teacher training
- City of Fulton - geothermal system at Windmill Cultural Center
FACE's mission is to serve as a philanthropic leader, catalyst, and resource to improve the quality of life in our community. The grants FACE makes are made possible because of the generous donations by area patrons. The success of FACE programs depends on the contributions of many individual citizens.
