The Windmill Rye Whiskey released Friday, February 3, 2012. A tasting and bottle signing event will occur at Eagle River Liquor (Fulton) on Saturday, February 4, from 4pm to 6pm. Only a limited number of bottles (3,000+) will be available.

Seasonal No. 3 is Windmill Rye Whiskey. Explore the depths of the grain with this spicy and earthy rye whiskey. This uncommon spirit was handcrafted the old fashioned way. We began with rye grown locally in Reynolds, Illinois. A portion of the grain was then taken to De Immigrant Windmill in Fulton, Illinois for milling.
This authentic Dutch windmill sits right on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi, just 20 miles upriver from our distillery. The power of nature churned the rye into a flour that was then returned to our distillery for fermentation. The spirit is 100% rye and was aged over new, charred oak and then finished in used bourbon barrels. The result is a smooth but spicy whiskey that demonstrates the complex and bold qualities of rye. This limited seasonal bottling won’t last long. Enjoy it while you can! "
