Cattail Park is located at 100 19th Street. This park has a community building (for rent, call the city for details 815-589-2616), pavillion, picnic tables, outdoor grills, and playground. Shore or flat bottom boat fishing is perfect at Cattail Park. 
Cattail Slough is located at 1/2 mile southwest of Fulton proper off of IL Route 84. Boat launch, pavillion, and restrooms are on site. This secluded destination is great for ice and seasonal fishing! The Chocolate Trail is a self-paced route that covers Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties in Northwest Illinois. Potter's Marsh is an area that is maintained by the Upper Mississippi River U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Green denotes refuge lands and white are non-refuge lands. The polka dot region is a hunt free zoned area. This area is accessed by boat.
