Mickelson's Landing is located a few miles north of Fulton proper in Whiteside County, Illinois. Access to this great hidden fishing hole is off of the Lock and Dam 13 entrance road. Travel a bit north and turn left by the Sand Prairie area. Public boat launches are available. Two docks with benches are located at this spot, both of which have wheel chair access. This area is maintained by the Upper Mississippi River U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. State of Illinois
