The City of Fulton Council Members met last night and agreed on extending the burn ban within the city, through September 1, 2020, due to the lack of precipitation - resulting in extremely dry conditions.
Please do not burn any storm debris or yard waste within the city limits until the ban has been lifted. On September 1st, the Mayor, Public Works Director and Chief of Police will decide on lifting or continuing the ban after reviewing the weather conditions at that time.
Until then, city crews will continue to pick up the debris. Residents were asked to have all debris set out at the curb through August 23, 2020 for pickup.
REMINDER: Crews cannot go down alleys, so please make sure your debris is at the curb.
