City of Fulton Bulky Waste Cleanup 2020

Moring Disposal Inc., will be providing a Bulky Waste Cleanup Day for all homes in the City of Fulton.  The following is an outline of the cleanup program:

Program Date: September 26, 2020. All acceptable bulk waste should be set at the curb the night before or by 5:00 a.m. Items set out after the truck has passed will not be collected. Trucks will not be in alleys for the bulky item pickup. Participating residents must place cleanup items out front or on the side at the street, whichever is most convenient.

Waste Collection Limit: Each participating residence may set out up to two (2) large bulky items and one (1) cubic yard of miscellaneous waste (six 35-gallon garbage containers.)

Program Guidelines: Miscellaneous bulk waste should be contained in bags or boxes. Uncontained items will not be collected. Large appliances, electronics, and construction materials are prohibited. The following are detailed lists of acceptable and unacceptable items.

ACCEPTABLE (BULKY)

  • Couches
  • Sectional – (limit (1) full sectional)   
  • Microwaves                                                    
  • Sleeper Sofas
  • Rocker/recliners
  • Coffee/end tables
  • Kitchen tables
  • Bed frames
  • Mattress/box springs
  • Baby beds (cribs)
  • Bicycles
  • Dressers, shelving, cabinets, etc.
  • Walking mowers (fuel must be drained)

UNACCEPTABLE (BULKY)

  • Major appliances
  • Air conditioners
  • De-humidifiers
  • Water heater/softener
  • Windows
  • Plate glass
  • Riding lawn mowers
  • Tires
  • Demolition/remodeling debris
  • Cement, rock, brick
  • Car Parts
  • Carpeting
  • Electronic Items

ACCEPTABLE MISC. ITEMS

  • Boxes or cans of small, misc. items
  • Bicycles
  • Tricycles
  • Outdoor toys
  • Lawn tools
  • Grills
  • Lawn chairs
  • Baby swings
  • Playpens
  • Walkers
  • Car seats
  • Fans
  • Dishes
  • Clothing
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • Pillows
  • Picture frames
  • Area rugs
  • Etc.

UNACCEPTABLE MISC. ITEMS

  • Auto batteries
  • Liquid waste of any kind
  • Household hazardous waste
  • Medical waste
  • Solid steel post, all heavy gauge steel
  • Yard waste
  • Electronic items (cell phones, Mp3 players, radios, etc.)
