Item for consideration is a special use permit for Awesometown MVP which is located in the old Trinity Church 514 13th Ave. Bob Whitten explained the reasoning for needing the special use permit. Awesometown MVP is trying to give back to the community because he is retired. They currently fund themselves and are aiming on helping kids interested in music and the arts. One of the newest items is electronic gaming and the start of the after school programs. They plan on allowing Mr. Tennysen from the Fulton School decide which kids are in need to be able to come to the after school programs at little to no charge. Awesometown MVP is considered a non-profit organization and has applied for their 501C3 to get grants. The main reason for the permit is Fulton Forward, which are events that happen in the evenings. These events allow talented musicians to play for anyone willing to show up. Dean Brackemyer motioned to grant a special use permit for Awesometown MVP, seconded by Linda North. Roll call (8 yes).
